What the selected providers publish
The full-day snorkel listing says not to participate with serious heart conditions, excludes pregnant travelers and links to the operator's health checklist. The introductory-dive listing says not wheelchair accessible, calls for strong physical fitness, excludes certain serious conditions and pregnancy, and has a maximum group size of four. The certified fun-dive listing says a license is required, excludes or discourages participation for some health conditions, and warns that failure of the day-of health check may not be refundable.
The captured listings do not establish every age threshold, medical form answer, accepted license type or minimum recent-dive experience. Contact the operator to verify your specific eligibility before paying. Do not infer that two products from the same port have identical rules.
Keep medical decisions with qualified professionals
Okinawa's official visitor safety guide advises divers to know their limits, be in good health, speak with a doctor about medical issues, follow an experienced instructor and confirm the dive plan and emergency procedures. It also advises visitors not to dive when unwell or tired and not to fly on the same day as a dive. Ask a qualified dive professional how those recommendations apply to the schedule you plan.
The official guide also recommends life jackets for snorkeling, checking weather and sea conditions, snorkeling in pairs and avoiding alcohol or entering the water when unwell. These are general safety tips; the operator's live instructions and local sea conditions control the activity.
If an operator cannot tell you whether your condition, medication or credential meets its current rules, skip the booking until you have a clear answer. See the activity-type comparison and sea-condition planning guide. This page is not medical advice or a substitute for the provider's health screen.
Common questions
Does every water-activity listing have the same health restrictions?
No. The checked products publish different restrictions and health-screening terms. Review the current listing for the specific activity and ask the operator about your circumstances.
Does the certified fun dive require a diving license?
Yes. Its checked listing says a license is required. Confirm the accepted credential and any experience requirements with the operator before booking.
