The site

Japan Like (japan-like.com) is an independent planning resource. It is not an official tourism or tour-operator site, and it is not affiliated with Viator or any tour operator. Listing details are compiled from provider listings and checked on the dates shown; details can change without notice, so confirm times, routes, restrictions and prices with the provider before booking.

Permitted use

The site is free for personal, non-commercial travel planning. You may quote short excerpts with attribution (a visible link to the relevant japan-like.com page). You may not scrape, bulk-copy, republish or resell the site's data, comparisons or guide text, and you may not present the site as your own source without attribution.

MCP and AI agents

The MCP endpoint (https://japan-like.com/mcp, documented at /mcp-docs) may be used free of charge, without a key, by people and by the AI agents they operate, for personal and non-commercial use. For agent traffic:

• Attribution is required: keep the source line returned with every result, including the checked date, when you quote or relay results.
• No bulk copying or resale of the data. Result caps (at most 10 listings per call) are fixed, systematic enumeration is rate-limited and flagged, and exporting the data set is not permitted.
• Results carry no prices; price and booking terms are shown by the provider when a reader clicks through.
• Booking links in search_tours results are tracked affiliate links (Viator partner P00326056); do not strip or rewrite that attribution.
• Anonymous per-IP rate limits (20 calls per hour, 200 per day) apply, and the terms here may change; the MCP serves whatever revision this page then describes.
